Jing You’s practice is grounded in her experience of having been trained in translation, which shaped her approach to interpreting emotions through painting. She approaches painting as a form of “aesthetic translation,” using it to hold abstract emotions—such as solitude, longing, love, and inner conflict—so they can be read, understood, and released.
At the center of her work is Aura—an invisible, intangible yet deeply felt emotional field. By creating new visual symbols, including hybrid floral forms and the Swan Pistil, she avoids existing cultural frameworks and builds a shared emotional language that can cross differences.
Combining translation training with her self-taught painting background, Jing’s process moves through perceiving emotions, naming them, and generating symbols. She transforms emotional frequencies, relational structures, and inner landscapes into visual forms, making viewing an experience of understanding and resonance.
Her artistic purpose is simple yet profound: to translate emotions, resolve distress, and recover joy.
Jing You 的創作方法論奠基於她在學生時期接受的筆譯訓練，也由此展開她以繪畫翻譯情緒的實踐。她將繪畫視為「審美的翻譯工具」，用以承載孤獨、渴望、愛、糾結等難以言說的抽象情緒，使其得以被閱讀、被理解、被釋放。
作品核心為「空氣感（Aura）」——一種不可見、不可觸卻能被感受的能量場。 透過創造全新的視覺符號，如花朵混融而成的象徵形式與天鵝花蕊，她避開既有文化框架，建立一套能跨越差異的情感語言。
結合筆譯訓練與自學繪畫背景，Jing 的創作流程包含：感知情緒、語言命名、生成符號。她將情緒的頻率、人際結構與內在風景轉化為可視的畫面，使觀看成為一場理解與共鳴的過程。
她的創作目的質樸而深刻：
透過翻譯情緒，解決煩惱，找回快樂。
